Money Heist Lessons for the Entrepreneurs

Series or Movies have a lot to speak about rather than just exploring the entertainment side, including the Entrepreneur side as well. With the 5th Season of Money Heist airing on Netflix, there is an excellent understanding between the Series and its lessons for the commoner.

The Series has a lot to offer to the ordinary person as well as a person who runs a business or is the Entrepreneur of a large marketing Firm. The Series includes a bunch of characters, amongst which is the show’s attraction known as the “Professor”. His band of thieves include Tokyo, Moscow, Berlin, Nairobi, Rio, Denver, Helsinki and Oslo. Everyone is named after some of the Best City names.

Some of the Lessons which the Series teaches us are,

Knowing Your Business In and Out

In your Entrepreneur Business field, no one should know your game plan, your market or your system better than you. In the Series as well, Professor was able to think ahead of everyone in his head and was prepared. Professor was able to predict all the moves that police and the agents could probably make and was very well verse prepared for it before time. Professor planned his actions and his moves and sent his members to the Police station with a strategy in his mind that included monitoring the police actions.

Teaching – Consider all the situations before time, and thinking well ahead of time, can help in making the possible moves.

Attach your cause with a Reward

Whatever your cause is, you need your team to be connected and stay motivated to move towards a particular goal. No one can beat a team that is emotionally attached to a cause. Professor wanted his team to be emotionally connected and work together as a team to achieve a mission.

Teaching – Your mission should be connected to a cause and a reward so that your team can stay strong together.

Don’t mix your Business with your Emotions.

We have heard of the saying,” Never mix your Business with Emotions”. This statement implies that you should never get your feelings indulged with your Business Goals, then you are probably destined to ruin your Business cause. Professor fell in love with the Professor and was nearly close to getting himself killed. Also, Tokyo fell in love with Rio and messed things up. Similarly, other team members fell in love with the other Hostages and ruined the Heist quite severely.

Teaching – Never Fall in love with your Enemy or your teammate because it can be disastrous for you and your cause for the business. Holding your Emotions and keeping them in check will always help you in your Future Endeavours.

Research and Plan

Professor being a chess player, was aware of every in and out of his plan. All credits to the Research he did for his cause. He planned every tiniest detail and moved related to The Heist. Similar to your Business, you should make every move with great patience and do proper research over it so that you do not incur any further loss on your business journey. The more solid and thorough your research is, the fewer problems you will have in Future regarding your Business.

Teaching – Balancing is very important. Living life on extremes can not give you good results.

Consistency and Persistency are most Needed.

Once you are ready with your action plan and you are done with all the tiniest details, then all you need to do is DO IT. The Professor gave all the necessary details on board, now all they had to do was hitting the ground and performing the Heist, but if they had not performed the Heist, then the theory of Professor might have Failed. In Spite of numerous tactics employed by the Spanish police, Berlin always used to say,” We stick to the Plan”.

Similarly, in the case of Business employees, when you are done with all your planning and preparing for how to set your business in front of your audience, then all you need to do is follow and stick to the plan.

Teaching – “Execution is also important and not just planning.”
